Ingrid Richardson, LPC, CPCS

Ingrid is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) and the founder of Renew Hope Counseling and Consulting, LLC.

Ingrid received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in Organizational Leadership in Supervision and started her career immediately after graduating. Several years later, Ingrid realized her passion and attended Richmont Graduate University, where she received her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. Ingrid has a passion for assisting others in building and maintaining relationships, healing from trauma, and improving their ability to cope and function with various life transitions.

Ingrid's approach to therapy often assists clients in understanding and changing the way they think, feel, and behave. She uses a Solution-Focused approach to therapy while utilizing other modalities such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Ingrid is exceptionally skilled in assisting couples in healing and recovering from affairs. She is skilled in providing therapeutic support for individuals who are experiencing anxiety, grief, stress, depression, major life adjustments, and trauma. She is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the International Society of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (IS-ART), and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCAGA).

Ingrid is married with 2 children. She has the heart to serve others and seeks that out through being actively involved in her sorority and church community. She cherishes her time with her family and friends as well as ensuring she spends time alone to renew herself. She enjoys daily walks, reading, watching TV, and traveling.
